I'm no driver, but I respectfully disagree I disagree with Nico's assessment of Lewis's actions here. He didn't back out of it because it was a dangerous situation, it was a dangerous situation because he didn't back out of it. I believe Lewis saw an opportunity in Vettel's error and took full advantage. I believe it was a strategic move that, under interpretation of the rules, would have favored Lewis. I believe he knew it. Lewis flopped, and the stewards fell for it.
